Terms of Service
The terms that apply when using EDR Broadcast
Last updated: 24 June 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms are between you and M.C HALDEN & C.D WILSON, a partnership trading as EDR APPS / EDR Broadcast under ABN 52 315 882 514.
By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing, downloading or using EDR Broadcast, you agree to these Terms.
If you use EDR Broadcast for a league, team, broadcaster, business or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organisation.
2. The app and services
EDR Broadcast is a desktop broadcasting and overlay application for iRacing. It provides tools for OBS overlays, automated camera direction, incident detection, replay control, remote browser control, live timing and related broadcast features.
Some features run locally. Some features require internet access, an active account or a paid subscription.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including use by broadcast operators, league staff, contractors or other people you invite to use EDR Broadcast.
4. Licence to use EDR Broadcast
Subject to these Terms and your plan, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download, install and use EDR Broadcast for your own broadcasts or authorised league/team broadcasts.
You must not copy, sell, rent, sublicense, redistribute, reverse engineer, tamper with, bypass licence controls, bypass watermark/PC/operator limits, attack our systems, or use EDR Broadcast for unlawful, infringing, abusive or harmful purposes.
5. Plans
Free
The Free plan may include selected overlays and themes and may include an EDR watermark.
Pro
The Pro plan may include additional overlays, themes, watermark removal, auto-director, replay control, incident detection and support for up to 2 PCs.
League
The League plan may include Pro features plus remote browser control, public live timing, multi-PC support, up to 3 operators at once and up to 5 PCs.
Enterprise
Enterprise plans may include custom terms, higher operator limits, custom branding, API access, priority support or other agreed features. Enterprise customers are covered by these Terms unless a separate written agreement is signed.
6. Trials
EDR Broadcast may offer a 14-day Pro free trial. The Pro trial does not require a credit card or payment method and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
When the trial ends, Pro features stop unless you choose a paid plan. Only one trial may be available per person, account, organisation or device, unless we agree otherwise.
7. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Paid plans renew monthly unless cancelled before the next billing date. Prices are shown in AUD unless we say otherwise.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Stripe billing portal. You can also contact apps@endurotechracing.com for help.
Cancellation stops future renewals. Paid features continue until the end of the current billing period unless we say otherwise or the law requires a different outcome. Licensing/access is removed or downgraded when the paid period expires. Cancellation does not automatically refund fees already paid.
8. Refunds and consumer rights
Your rights under applicable consumer laws are not limited by these Terms.
For EDR Broadcast subscriptions, you may request a refund within 7 days of first purchase by contacting apps@endurotechracing.com. This 7-day refund period applies to EDR Broadcast subscriptions only and does not apply to EDR Store items, including merchandise such as tee shirts.
Renewal refunds are discretionary unless required by law.
9. Remote browser control
Remote browser control lets authorised operators control parts of a broadcast from a browser. Remote rooms use access controls such as invite or secret-link access, optional invite-only approval, role permissions, host revoke/kick controls, entitlement checks, rate limiting and session expiry/closure controls.
You are responsible for sharing control access only with authorised operators, revoking access when operators no longer need it, supervising operator actions, and keeping broadcast and league access secure.
10. Public live timing
If you enable public live timing or share a live-timing link, the live-timing page is hosted by EDR APPS and race/session information is sent to EDR servers so the page can operate.
Public live-timing information may be visible to anyone with access to the link until the remote session is closed or expires. EDR APPS wipes public live-timing data after the remote session is closed or expires.
You are responsible for deciding whether live timing should be public, whether driver/session information may be shared, and whether publication complies with league rules, privacy obligations and platform rules.
11. Broadcast content and user responsibility
You are responsible for your broadcast, stream, overlays, commentary, sponsor content, logos, liveries, graphics, music, videos, ads, custom themes and any other content you use with EDR Broadcast.
You must have all rights, permissions and licences needed for your broadcast content and must comply with Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Discord, iRacing, league rules, event rules and all applicable laws.
12. iRacing, OBS and third-party services
EDR Broadcast is an independent tool and is not endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or affiliated with iRacing.com Motorsport Simulations, LLC.
EDR Broadcast may depend on iRacing, OBS, operating systems, browsers, streaming platforms, payment providers and other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party changes, outages, restrictions or compatibility issues, except where law says otherwise.
13. Availability and updates
The broadcast may continue to run locally if the internet drops, but online features such as account checks, subscription checks, remote browser control, public live timing, updates and cloud services may require an internet connection.
We may provide updates, patches, new features, feature changes, compatibility changes or security updates. Auto-update functionality is planned but not currently available unless we state otherwise.
14. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if you do not pay fees when due, breach these Terms, misuse remote control or public live timing, create a security risk, infringe intellectual property rights, or where required by law.
15. Disclaimers and liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, EDR Broadcast is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Broadcast automation, incident detection, timing, telemetry, overlays, camera logic and replay cues are assistive tools and may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate or unavailable.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect, special, incidental, consequential or loss-of-profit damages, including lost broadcast revenue, sponsorship loss, platform penalties, league penalties, lost data or loss caused by third-party services.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland and the courts competent to hear appeals from those courts.
